About Department of Computer Engineering

For any revolution to make an impact, Computer Engineering holds the key. Computer engineering department was established in the year of 2011 to achieve basic and advance educational objectives such as, to make the students comprehend and apply basic principles of computers for realistic application development and deployment.

We will make students strong in their domain so that they will be able to face all the challenges coming in their path with positive attitude and achieve success in private or government sector.

Our focus is not only on theoretical or practical knowledge but to develop their logical and mathematical intelligence of individual student so that they can easily understands and learns latest trends in computer science field. We are conducting short term courses and seminars on Advanced C, C++, VB and Oracle, VC++, JAVA Technology, Python, PC Troubleshooting and maintenance, design patterns and extreme programming.

Producing quality software engineers trained in the latest tools and technologies and striving to make India a world leader in software and hardware products and services.

M1: To impart quality technical education to the student through innovative and interactive teaching.

HOD Profile

Prof.Shelar S.R has completed his B.E.(Computer Engineering) from Sinhagad Institute of Technology, Lonavala and M.E.( Computer Science and Engineering) from Pravara Rural Engineering, Savitribai Phule Pune University. His areas of interest are Cloud Computing & Computer Network. He has 5 years of teaching experience. He has published 7 papers in international journals. He has organized several workshops, faculty development programs, various technical and non-technical events at regional and state level. He has attended several Workshops, Seminars and Faculty Training Programs.

It gives me an immense pleasure to express my views towards the development of Computer Engineering Department. Besides a very strong and disciplined Academics, Department has started various practices. Students are having enormous talents and creativity which are being explored by extra co-curricular activities like Group Discussion, debate, Extempore, Programming contests, project competition etc.

Lastly I congratulate the creative and sincere efforts taken by my faculty members and students for the achievement of Computer Department and I wish all of them a great success in their bright futureā€¦
