Civil engineering department was established in the year of 2011 to achieve basic and advance educational objectives such as, To make the students comprehend and apply basic principles of Civil Engineering for realistic application development and deployment.

We will make students strong in their domain so that they will be able to face all the challenges coming in their path with positive attitude and achieve success in private or government sector.

Our focus is not only on theoretical or practical knowledge but to develop their logical and Practical intelligence of individual student so that they can easily understand and learns latest trends in civil engineering field.

HOD Profile

Prof. Pardeshi A.R. has completed his B.E.(Civil Engineering) from Parikrama College of Engineering, Kashti and M.E.(Structural Engineering) from G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering Ahmednagar. His areas of interest are Environmental Engineering & Structure. He has 6 years of teaching experience. He has published 3 papers in international journals. He has organized several workshops, faculty development programs, various technical and non-technical events at regional and state level. He has attended several Workshops, Seminars and Faculty Training Programs.

The Civil Engineering Department is a part of the institute since its inception. The Department has grown over the years with qualified teaching faculty members who are passionate to impart quality education. The department laboratories are fully equipped with latest equipment's, software's and all necessary teaching aids.

The Infrastructure development in India is growing at a faster rate and there are many career paths for civil engineers. Civil engineers are essential in government sector, public and private sector and Multinational companies, to build various mega projects like highways, Industrial structures, smart cities, and reservoirs etc. The next decade will be most demanding and rewarding for Civil engineers.

Program Outcomes

1. Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

2. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

3. Design/development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet t h e specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

4. Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

5. Modern Tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

6. The Engineer and Society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

7. Environment and Sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

2. Construction Planning & Designing - Perform optimal Civil Engineering Construction Planning & design activities & desired Quality at optimal cost.

3. Construction Execution & Maintenance - Execute civil Engineering construction & maintenance using relevant materials & equipment also use of design tools & technologies.

4. Assess the environmental impact of various projects and able to find remedial of environmental issues.
